Your support means the world to us and has been making a significant impact on our literacy skills. These supplies have helped students to sound out words, make words using magnetic letters, read words, and use them in sentences, as well as to write short stories. We have also been able to laminate a lot of our supplies so they can be more durable for future use. \r\n\r\nThe students were very excited to see the materials. They had so many questions even though we had previous conversations about the project. They were curious to know who donated the items. They also were very anxious to use these materials. They all wanted to use them at the same time. However, we decided to use them in small groups. \r\nDuring small group instruction, they actively participated in reading and sounding out the words. \r\nThey also enjoyed using the writing sheets to write their stories and draw their pictures.\r\n\r\nBecause of donors like you, the students have gotten the opportunity to explore hands-on materials that will help them throughout the reading process. Your generosity has helped us to work harder and continue to make a difference. \r\n\r\nOnce again, thank you for your kindness and support.
