Students are using the paddles and balls to explore math concepts such as ratios, angles, and probability while actively participating in games and drills. During one lesson, students measured distances, calculated scores, and even graphed their performance over time, applying math skills in a real-world, hands-on way. It has made learning both interactive and fun.\r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, students' eyes lit up with curiosity and joy. Many immediately asked if they could try the equipment, eager to combine fitness with learning. Their energy and enthusiasm were contagious, and it reminded me why investing in hands-on tools is so important for engagement and comprehension.\r\n\r\nOur next steps involve incorporating team strategy and statistics lessons into our pickleball activities. Students will record, analyze, and present data from their games, learning to connect numbers, patterns, and outcomes. Thanks to your support, they are gaining confidence, developing collaboration skills, and seeing how math applies outside the textbook. We are truly grateful for your contribution and can't wait to share more of their successes!","fullyFundedDate":1758636477327,"projectUrl":"project/active-minds-healthy-bodies-pickleball/9725971/","projectTitle":"Active Minds, Healthy Bodies: Pickleball for Learning and Fitness","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Sinco","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9256773_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753116549401","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9256773"},{"teacherId":9256773,"projectId":9285450,"letterContent":"The new technology has greatly transformed learning in our classroom by making lessons far more interactive and engaging. Students can now explore concepts visually, practice skills at their own pace, and work together more effectively, which has led to noticeable growth in both confidence and curiosity. What excites them most is the hands-on experience—being able to immediately apply what they learn in meaningful ways. Several students who were once quiet or hesitant now eagerly participate, showing increased focus, enthusiasm, and a genuine excitement for learning each day.","fullyFundedDate":1746453842301,"projectUrl":"project/smart-math-tablet-enhancing-speed-for-g/9285450/","projectTitle":"Smart Math Tablet: Enhancing Speed for Grade 8 Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Sinco","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9256773_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753116549401","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9256773"},{"teacherId":9256773,"projectId":9074863,"letterContent":"The new technology has greatly improved the way my students learn by making lessons more interactive and engaging. Many of them are visual learners, and the tools allow me to present concepts in ways that are easier to understand. Instead of simply reading or listening, students can now explore, practice, and apply their knowledge using technology, which has strengthened both their comprehension and confidence.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students the most is the hands-on experience. They enjoy using the devices to collaborate, solve problems, and discover answers on their own. The interactive features not only capture their attention but also make learning feel more like exploration rather than routine work. This excitement has encouraged even my quieter students to participate more actively in class discussions and activities.\r\n\r\nI have noticed particular students who once struggled to stay engaged are now showing more enthusiasm for learning. For example, one student who often had difficulty focusing during lessons has become more motivated when using the technology and is now completing tasks with greater independence. Seeing these changes has been truly inspiring, and it reinforces just how impactful this project has been for my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1746842550877,"projectUrl":"project/mathematics-in-the-digital-age-tools-f/9074863/","projectTitle":"\"Mathematics in the Digital Age: Tools for Solving Complex Problems\"","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Sinco","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9256773_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1753116549401","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9256773"},{"teacherId":9743629,"projectId":8835002,"letterContent":"I and the students of Wolf Point Junior/Senior High are very thankful for the materials provided to us through your support. We appreciate your efforts and are more than thankful for the support. \r\n\r\nWhen the students first received the materials they were filled with excitement to see new things come into the classroom. The students asked plenty of questions and immediately tried out their new equipment. Through your support students are now able to use resources that were not made available to them before. The most utilized items are the foam rollers and the jump ropes. We are now able to make jumping rope a full part of the weekly exercise routine, now that we have enough jump ropes available to all students. The foam rollers have been a key tool used by all students but specifically our athletes. They have loved the benefits of being able to use them in the prehab, rehab, and gameday preparations.","fullyFundedDate":1733284850288,"projectUrl":"project/weight-training-supplies/8835002/","projectTitle":"Weight Training Supplies","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Red Cloud","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9743629"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_71470","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":320,"numTeachers":18,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":0,"percentWhite":11,"percentIndigenous":66,"percentLatinx":4,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"7 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"17.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":50.0,"schoolId":71470,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wolf Point Junior Senior High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wolf Point Junior Senior High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/montana/wolf-point-school-dist-45-45-a/wolf-point-junior-senior-high-school/71470"}
