Your support has made my job so much easier and the health room a safer and more comfortable place for students. Many Winterfield Elementary students don't have much materially, but they do have infectious smiles and energy and want to learn. Your support of their health helps keep them in class so they can learn and grow.\r\n\r\nThe period cart has been a huge hit, as menstruating students are often shy regarding the products they need. The cart offers them a discrete option for getting products, and also gives them the opportunity to \"grab and go\" when I am occupied with another student.\r\n\r\nThe ice scoop, while simple, has been a big improvement in my daily routine. We've been using the new resources in so many ways. The plastic containers have been perfect for organizing our math manipulatives and materials, which makes math centers and whole-group time run smoothly. Students love being able to see where everything goes and it's helping them become more independent and responsible in our classroom.\r\nWhen the packages started to arrive, the students were curious! We opened the boxes together and they couldn't wait to explore everything inside. The math games and books were instant favorites, they were jumping from happiness after seeing all the new materials they could use and the games they could play with!\r\nRight now, we are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, and the books we received fit perfectly into our lessons. Each day, we read about the capitals of different Latin American countries, and students get excited when the story talks about their home country.
