I am implementing the universal design for learning in my 6th grade classes this school year, and the camera opens up so many learning opportunities for students. Students will be able to create videos and easily take pictures that they can use in a multitude of ways to facilitate their learning and demonstrate understanding and mastery of new skills. I received the donation at the end of the school year in May of 2026 and both my advanced and struggling learners immediately started creating their own tutorial videos. They really do love to video themselves doing the math. My new students finally got to use the cameras today, but I was unable to take pictures because I was teaching small group lessons while they used them. The technology is easy to use and the students were so engaged in their learning that I hardly noticed them moving around the room to gather materials for their project today. Thank you from the bottom of this teacher's heart for your investment in my students at Winterboro High School.","fullyFundedDate":1777056813233,"projectUrl":"project/bridging-the-gap-seeing-success-in-midd/10201125/","projectTitle":"Bridging the Gap: Seeing Success in Middle School Math","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Shearer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10481092"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_16408","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":375,"numTeachers":19,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":52,"percentWhite":40,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":3,"gradesServed":"6 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"19.7:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":100.0,"schoolId":16408,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Winterboro High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Winterboro High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/alabama/talladega-county-school-district/winterboro-high-school/16408"}
