We are so pleased that you decided to select our project. These items have been used to create a more therapeutic environment for the students who come to the counseling department to receive mental health support. \r\n\r\nStudents who visit the Zen Den, a quiet space to de-escalate, have been seen using the coloring book and fidgets. A group of adolescent girls have regained their interest in coloring and now utilize it as a calming strategy. They have come to my office as a group several times to color mandalas during their lunch break. The students on my caseload were thrilled to receive sketchbooks and journals to express their emotions and artistic abilities. Each of these tools have allowed the students to explore new and effective coping strategies. \r\n\r\nWe truly appreciate your support and investment in our students, and are pleased that the students are actively utilizing the items you provided as a donation.
