My students are all exposed to the first book in a series. We spend 20 mins a day reading aloud. Many students report this is their favorite time of day and past students repeatedly come and remind me of how much they cherished that time in my class. This is priceless.\r\n\r\nAfter we finish a book, analyze the text, the characters, make connections and so forth so many students excitedly ask for the \"next book\" or more books by that same author. \r\n\r\nIn the past I've had to go looking for the sequels at the public library, in our school library or suggest parents do the same. This year, because of your donation, I had several copies of one or more sequels that the students could check out and read. \r\n\r\nThe excitement is contagious and continues.
