They were so excited to have our aquariums set up with various decorations in it. When I brought in the fish, they were overjoyed. Students in the school who are not in my class also come by during nutrition and lunch to \"visit\" the fish. I was able to set up two aquariums in my class, one with six freshwater fish and one with a betta fish. Students take turns feeding the fish and if it's not their turn they make sure the student whose turn it is to remind them. \r\n\r\nHaving pets in the classroom is so good for students. If someone is having an \"off\" day, I ask them to take a chair and check on the fish. The students really enjoy using it to print many useful (and some fun) items. Our school has robotics teams and hydrogen car teams. The hydrogen car teams recently used the 3D scanner to replicate and then 3D print parts for their hydrogen car, such as a battery holder and an additional item (I'm not sure what it's used for). Both items are in the photos.
