Because of your generosity, my third graders received yarn and looms that let them explore the connection between agriculture and the things we use every day.\r\n\r\nAg Friday is one of my favorite ways to help my kids understand where their food, fiber, and fuel come from. Cotton gives us a great opportunity to follow that journey from a plant growing in the field to fiber that can be spun into yarn and woven into useful products. Having looms and yarn in their hands makes that connection so much more meaningful. It is exactly the kind of hands-on learning I love bringing into our classroom.\r\n\r\nYour donation made it possible for my students to explore an important agricultural product in a memorable way.
