They have helped my students learn through building and touching. As soon as I started breaking out the new sensory items they smiled and laughed and got to work building and trying all the different sensory toys out! I loved watching their minds try to figure out a new toy and and how they would bring it to me for help. When I would show them how it worked they would just smile and their eyes would sparkle. They love having time in the sensory corner to explore even more now. \r\n They also love the donut seats. It provides them with movement while we are learning. It has cut down on all the rolling around and laying on the floor while I am teaching. It also makes me happy to see their smiles! As they bounce while I am teaching them. \r\n I have a small class so I was also able to share the love with some of the other ESS teachers around campus and teachers that work with my students for ancillary. They are enjoying the donut seats and fidget toys. Some of them used them in their treasure chest others, for their students to have more movement in their class. Thank you again for all your help and sharing with my class. It really means a lot to me and my students.","fullyFundedDate":1758493524499,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-corner-come-to-life/9681255/","projectTitle":"Sensory Corner Come to Life!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Buratt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp3838270_orig.jpg?crop=1944,1944,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1759420269166","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3838270"},{"teacherId":6644129,"projectId":9291827,"letterContent":"With this project, I was able to provide my students with the exact book they desired to have! The stickers and treats have been such a hit—students' faces light up when they earn one as recognition for their effort and positive choices. A simple sticker has turned into a big motivator, and I often hear, \"I'm going to try my best so I can get one today!\"\r\n\r\nThe Teachers Pay Teachers gift card has been such a blessing as well. I've already used it to bring in engaging resources that fit my students' needs, from a daily affirmation station, math multiplication numbers, and letters around the classroom. Having access to creative, high-quality materials saves me so much prep time and lets me focus more on working with my students directly.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, these resources will continue fueling both my teaching and my students' growth. The treats and stickers will keep motivation high, and the TPT materials will provide fresh, exciting lessons to keep students engaged all year long.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, my students are not only learning—they're celebrating their progress along the way. My students couldn't believe all the new tools—we had gasps when they saw the color printer in action for the first time, and cheers when they noticed the comfy flexible seating. One student even said, \"This feels like a whole new classroom!\"\r\n\r\nWe've already been putting the materials to good use. The dry erase board has been a great addition since our white board did not work. The laminator has helped us create durable class room decor and reliable student log in cards, and activities—students now proudly use the same materials again and again without worry about them getting worn out. The pencil sharpener has been a small but mighty hero, cutting down on wasted time and giving students independence. And the color printer has brought our projects to life—whether it's anchor charts or student work displays, everything looks more vibrant and engaging.\r\n\r\nNext, we're using the new resources to support reading, and pbis. The flexible seating allows them to choose just the right space to focus and create. The students are allowed to use the flexible seating as a calming corner and reading corner option. \r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom feels more like a place where learning is hands-on, colorful, and exciting.
