When the students first saw the new prizes, their eyes lit up with excitement—they pointed out their favorites, talked about the goals they wanted to reach, and filled the room with energy. One especially memorable moment was when a student who had been struggling with focus finally met his weekly goal and proudly chose a toy, and his classmates celebrated with him. These new resources are helping students stay motivated, build positive habits, and work toward personal academic and behavior goals. As we move forward with our current lessons, students will continue setting weekly goals, and the treasure box will serve as a meaningful way to reward their effort, growth, and success.","fullyFundedDate":1762266348449,"projectUrl":"project/toys-for-treasure-box/9833688/","projectTitle":"Toys for Treasure Box","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Redmond","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9720298_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725184370183","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9720298"},{"teacherId":9720298,"projectId":9610833,"letterContent":"My students are using the snacks and science activities as part of hands-on learning projects. The interactive materials made the science concepts more concrete and fun for them. When the materials first arrived, the students were so excited! They immediately wanted to explore and use them in our science lessons. Their eyes lit up, and many said it felt like \"science came alive\" because they could touch, taste, and see the concepts in action. We will continue building on these activities by creating student-led projects where they design mini science experiments and present their findings to the class. The resources will also support upcoming lessons on ecosystems and the solar system, giving students more opportunities to connect real-world examples to what they are learning.","fullyFundedDate":1758196490182,"projectUrl":"project/super-scientists-in-the-making/9610833/","projectTitle":"Super Scientists in the Making!","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Redmond","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9720298_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1725184370183","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9720298"},{"teacherId":869425,"projectId":8385598,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generosity. Students have learned to use their hands to build things and understand how to work together as a team to accomplish a goal. This experience has allowed them to see the inner workings of technology and has piqued their curiosity. We plan to continue to grow and learn more new things. Students will be sharing their experiences and demonstrating what they have learned with their peers at the end of the school year. This will also be a wonderful opportunity for our students as well. They will get an opportunity to speak in front of others about their challenges and successes. This would not have been possible without your help.
