Many students who were previously hesitant to participate during whole-group read-alouds are now eagerly choosing stories and staying focused for longer periods of time. The audio support allows all learners—especially those still developing language skills—to access rich, engaging texts successfully.\r\n\r\nThe listening center has also encouraged independent learning. Students take pride in managing the materials, following routines, and immersing themselves in stories on their own. This independence has translated into increased motivation and a more positive attitude toward reading across the classroom.\r\n\r\nOverall, the listening center has enhanced our center time by making reading more accessible, engaging, and joyful.
