I am so blessed thankful for each and every donator! It pleases me greatly to know that other people value education and are willing to support classroom endeavors such as this. The yoga balls that you funded have helped my students every single day.\r\n\r\nI have noticed a decrease in disruptive behaviors and strengthening academic skills. When you look at my class, it takes a few seconds to adjust to what you see. My students are lightly bouncing or slightly rocking in all directions. Students with exceptional balance get to sit on their knees on the stability seats. It looks like a room full of wiggly children, and it is, but those wiggly children are learning and paying attention and staying awake because they are allowed to wiggle, thanks to you! The first week was a learning experience for us all. They had to learn that it was OK to move while they sat but they also had to figure out how much movement was too much movement.\r\n\r\nAt first students and teachers were skeptical, but now that the yoga balls have been in place for a few weeks, the overall response has been more than positive. The students know what a privilege it is to have these yoga balls and know that we could not have done it without your support. These chairs offer a great outlet for students to wiggle and fidget without being a distraction.\r\n\r\nThank you for transforming my classroom into a special learning environment. I have no regrets about this project and it is so exciting to my idea take action. I am encouraging other classrooms in my school to adopt alternative seating in the next school year.
