The chair bands, chair socks, and reward materials you helped provide have made a meaningful difference in my students' daily experience.\r\n\r\nThe chair bands have been especially helpful for students who need a little extra movement to stay focused. Now, instead of feeling restless, they can quietly fidget while staying engaged during lessons. The chair socks have also been a wonderful addition; our room is noticeably quieter, even during transitions, which helps everyone stay on task and reduces distractions. When I opened the package, students were eager to put the chair socks and bands on and immediately put them to use. They immediately commented on how peaceful the room felt and how much easier it was to concentrate. It's amazing how such small details can create such a big shift in our learning environment!\r\n\r\nThe rewards have added an extra layer of motivation and joy to our classroom culture. Daily candy incentives encourage effort and participation, while the larger end-of-quarter prizes have become something my students really look forward to. We use Class Dojo so that students can earn points and spend points as a celebration of positive behavior and hard work.\r\n\r\nYour support has truly enhanced both the atmosphere and the energy in our classroom. Because of you, my students are more focused, our environment is calmer, and our community feels stronger. Thank you for believing in my students and for helping make our classroom a better place to learn every day.","fullyFundedDate":1755638267671,"projectUrl":"project/beginning-of-the-year-supplies-and-incen/9479294/","projectTitle":"Beginning of the Year Supplies and Incentives","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Toole","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5473390"},{"teacherId":3004048,"projectId":9191725,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your donation to our class project. Our new resources have quickly become an essential part of our daily routines. Students are using composition notebooks and paper to capture key points from lessons and record reflections. Glue, highlighters, pencils, and sticky notes are now stored in organized bins, so students can easily grab what they need during activities. \r\n\r\n One memorable moment was the excitement when the Amazon boxes first arrived. My students could hardly wait to open them—they were thrilled to see all the supplies and immediately started brainstorming how they would use them.\r\n\r\n Next, we plan to add even more items to support organization and engagement during our classroom transformations. By having every tool at their fingertips, students can spend more time exploring content and collaborating with each other rather than searching for materials. These resources are helping us build a classroom environment where students are fully engaged and ready to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1746719871301,"projectUrl":"project/transforming-minds-one-lesson-at-a-time/9191725/","projectTitle":"Transforming Minds, One Lesson at a Time","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Carlisle","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp3004048_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1468414080709","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/monique-carlisle"},{"teacherId":8182093,"projectId":9053953,"letterContent":"My goal in ordering this popcorn machine was to reward students that exhibited exceptional behavior. I have been able to do this two times since receiving the popcorn machine. I have the popcorn machine on a mobile cart so it can be transported around the school to each classroom. This way the students receive fresh hot popcorn. \r\n\r\nThe students love seeing the popcorn machine coming down their hallway with the aroma of fresh popped popcorn training behind. I feel this has encouraged students to strive for exceptional behavior. Teachers are also scheduling more times for the popcorn machine to come to their room for other things such as rewarding students who worked hard to master a certain skill or when they have worked really hard on a new concept. \r\n\r\nWe will continue to use this incentive in our school throughout the years to encourage our students to be the best they possibly can be. They were even more excited when they entered the classroom after the large Connect 4 had been assembled. They could not wait to play with it.\r\n I've used the Connect 4 during instruction already. I use it to review objectives the students have learned so far this year. I divide the class into two teams, and if they answer the question correctly, they get to move a chip for their team. It has been a hit with the students, and they ask to play it often.\r\n In the future, I would love to create a project to get Ozobots for the classroom. We've used them once this year to route the paths of European explorers. There are so many ways I can integrate them with History. My students loved them. \r\n Thanks again for investing in my students.
