My students are very inquisitive about the world around them. They often come into my classroom asking me if I saw the post on Facebook about {science topic} or if I watched the Discovery Channel episode of {any cool science topic!} They are adept at using digital resources as well as printed media, but they honestly get bored with textbooks. Students are more excited & engaged with high color, high interest printed media, versus a traditional textbook or workbook page. This magazine by Scholastic allows my students to combine BOTH printed text and online digital content to learn about new discoveries in science.
