Your generosity has touched my students in ways that are hard to express, and I've seen the impact every single day in our classroom.\r\n\r\nThe snacks and waters you provided have been a lifeline for several of my students who quietly struggle with food insecurity at home. Having something to eat or drink when they need it has been a simple but meaningful support for them. Some of them have told me that it's the first time they've been able to get through a morning without feeling hungry. I've watched them become more focused, more motivated, and more confident simply because their most basic needs are finally being met.\r\n\r\nThe backpacks were another blessing. A few students had bags that were literally falling apart, and they didn't have the means to replace them. Seeing their faces light up when they received a brand-new backpack—something sturdy, something theirs—was incredibly moving. It gave them a sense of pride and belonging that every student deserves to feel.\r\n\r\nThe variety of snacks, the fresh water, the reliable backpacks—these may seem like small things, but they made a huge difference for kids who often go without. You didn't just donate items; you gave comfort, stability, and dignity.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students, for showing them kindness, and for reminding them that there are people out there who care about their well-being. Your generosity has truly made our classroom a better place.","fullyFundedDate":1757098975114,"projectUrl":"project/from-hungry-to-hopeful-classroom-essen/9333052/","projectTitle":"From Hungry to Hopeful: Classroom Essentials for Special Learners","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Bowlin","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp591692_orig.png?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1633439101495","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/591692"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_100829","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":390,"numTeachers":35,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":80,"percentWhite":7,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":10,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"9 - 12","studentTeacherRatio":"11.1:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"RURAL","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":87.5,"schoolId":100829,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Whale Branch Early College High School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Whale Branch Early College High School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/south-carolina/beaufort-county-school-district/whale-branch-early-college-high-school/100829"}
