With your help our students have not only created a garden space in the interior of our school, but they have also made several connections within our community. \r\n\r\nWhen our students were first made aware of this project they were skeptical if anyone would be willing to help them. Upon receiving the requested materials, their eyes lit up. They immediately began putting the greenhouse together and started a plan as to what seeds they would be starting first. Through their excitement, this group of students was invited to a district level pitch for up to $1,000. By using the materials in this project, our group was able to place second out of those participating. \r\n\r\nI have seen these students overcome so much in the short amount of time our club has been active, they have learned so many new skills and tried different foods. As a teacher and club advisor, I cannot thank you all enough for your support.
