These resources are already making a profound difference in promoting focus, self-regulation, and engagement for my students. We are using the fidgets, such as quiet clickers and magnet tiles, to provide crucial kinesthetic input during independent work, helping students manage excess energy and maintain attention on academic tasks. Simultaneously sensory tools are utilized for students who need grounding or deeper sensory input to stay calm and anchored during lessons. Your support has transformed simple learning moments into successful, focused experiences.\r\n\r\nA truly specific moment that highlights this success occurred during our recent paragraph writing lesson. One of my students, who historically struggles to stay seated and sustain effort during writing, utilized a textured fidget coil. This simple tool allowed him to manage his need for movement discreetly. He was able to remain engaged for the entire 15-minute writing block—a significant achievement for him. When he finished, he proudly held up his completed work, acknowledging the fidget helped him \"think about the words.\" This incident, along with the students' initial reaction of curiosity and excitement upon seeing the \"brain tools,\" confirms how valuable these resources are in removing barriers and enhancing learning capabilities in our classroom.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, your resources will be integral to the next phase of our current project, \"Community Helpers and Their Jobs.\" The students are preparing for the independent research and presentation phases, which demand sustained attention and organization—key executive functioning skills. We will be using the fidgets during research time to aid focus and the sensory tools to help manage potential anxiety during peer presentations. Thank you once again for peeking into our classroom and supporting this vital step in helping my students develop the self-management skills they need to succeed both academically and personally.\r\n\r\nSincerely,","fullyFundedDate":1756319164333,"projectUrl":"project/sensational-support/9634230/","projectTitle":"Sensational Support","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tiffany","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10205024"},{"teacherId":9807669,"projectId":8888167,"letterContent":"I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your generous donation to our class project. The resources you've helped provide have made a huge impact on campus, sparking excitement among the students. Many of them had never seen or used a heat press before, and it has opened up a whole new world of creative possibilities. The students were thrilled to see our little shop set up, and they've been eagerly designing their own creations, fully engaging with the new equipment.\r\n\r\nLooking ahead, we plan to turn this into an afterschool apprenticeship program, giving all students the chance to use the tools you've helped provide. Our goal is to expand this into a two-day class, allowing students to develop their skills and work on building their own brands.
