Having organization tools for both learning and storage has greatly impacted students' day to day life at school. We could not have done it without you!! Not only do they use the tools to store their supplies, they also use the supplies to organize their thoughts. Being in 6th grade, they are getting ready to go to middle school. It is essential for them to learn how to organize their school work and belongings. This has been a great first step in helping them build that skill.","fullyFundedDate":1768326281607,"projectUrl":"project/classroom-revamp-organization/9980525/","projectTitle":"Classroom Revamp & Organization","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Allen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10395960"},{"teacherId":10346203,"projectId":9985319,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom. The headphones have allowed students to fully engage in independent reading and math programs without distractions, while the whiteboards are used during whole group to practice our math skills. One especially meaningful moment was when a student used their white board on their own during work time to help map out their thinking to solve a math equation. Seeing them confidently apply what they were learning while collaborating with their peers was such a powerful reminder of how impactful these tools are.\r\n\r\nWhen my students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. They were especially thrilled about the headphones and games, and many of them couldn't wait to try everything out. They were especially excited for the gloves, as it has been very cold where we are and many of them do not own gloves! They LOVE to put these on for recess, even if it's not cold enough for gloves:) There was a strong sense of pride and ownership as they explored the new supplies, and it made our classroom feel even more like a special place just for them. Their enthusiasm has carried over into their learning, as they are more motivated and eager to participate in activities each day.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, we are continuing to build on our reading and writing skills through targeted small group instruction and hands-on practice. Our next steps include deepening our understanding of word patterns and improving reading fluency. We will be using the games and whiteboards to reinforce these skills, while the book bins will support students in staying organized. Your support has given us the tools to keep growing, and we are excited to continue building confidence and independence in our young learners.","fullyFundedDate":1770128977471,"projectUrl":"project/little-learners-big-dreams/9972539/","projectTitle":"Little Learners, Big Dreams!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Baker","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10392286"},{"teacherId":10398031,"projectId":9986697,"letterContent":"I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for your generous donation to our project, \"Inclusive Adventures in Books and Bodies.\" Because of you, our classroom now has new children's books to engage in and I have a ton of new organizational compartments. The students are also LOVING the different seating options, thanks to you! \r\nBefore these materials arrived, my students had limited options for seating during our daily whole group time. Often students would sit on the floor rather than a nice cushioned spot. We love the sunshine and flower pillows. One student with limited vocal words now requests the sun pillow! I was also struggling to locate different books to use for a small group lesson. I was in need of books that could be used to engage students that sometimes struggle with focus as well as give them activities that encourage hands-on learning. \r\nI am so thankful for the options I have for organization now as well. It is so nice knowing that next year when I am planning lessons and creating content I can pull out a folder and the materials are all ready to go! \r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their future. Your support has made a meaningful difference in our students' daily learning experiences.\r\n\r\nSome ways your donation has helped are the following... students who did not have their own headphones are now able to have a pair to use during independent learning, and our new dotted markers have added excitement and creativity to hands-on activities and crafts. (They LOVE when we get these out!)\r\n\r\nOur new whiteboards have quickly become a favorite and are now used almost daily during math lessons. They encourage active participation and allow students to practice skills with confidence. \r\n\r\nIn addition, the books you donated helped us add to our classroom library—especially the Pigeon series—have sparked a greater love of reading, and students are eager to explore them every day. (We have to take turns who gets to read them each day!)\r\n\r\nThe storage items you provided have also been invaluable in helping us organize both student and teacher materials, creating a more focused and productive learning environment.
