Your generosity has provided my 5th graders with additional resources that allow them to practice important math skills in engaging, hands-on ways. We are using these materials during whole-group instruction, small groups, intervention, and independent practice to help students strengthen foundational skills while also building their confidence as mathematicians.\r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to see the new materials in our classroom! What may seem like a simple classroom resource can make such a huge difference for a child who has struggled with math or needs another way to see and understand a concept. These resources are helping me meet students at their individual learning levels, address gaps from previous grades, and give them more opportunities to practice until they experience that exciting \"I got it!\" moment.\r\n\r\nAs we continue through 5th grade, our next step is to build on these foundational skills as students tackle more challenging concepts such as place value, decimals, fractions, multiplication, division, and problem solving. Because of your support, my students have more tools available to help them persevere, grow, and become confident problem-solvers.
