The theatre program at Westchester Middle School prides itself on creating a professional level production every year. We are honored to work with such talented and determined students.\r\n\r\nOne of the issues we frequently ran into was communication between directors and stage crew during the show. Thanks to your donation, we now have dedicated walkie talkies with headsets so we can communicate without disturbing the audience or actors. \r\n\r\nTo save on costs, we try to do as many alterations ourselves as possible. The snap button set, sewing kit, velcro, and fashion tape will help us to make sure each student looks their very best!\r\n\r\nIn order to make sure there are no sound issues, we change out the batteries of the wireless mics for each of our performances. So we are always in need of hundreds of AA Batteries! Thank you!\r\n\r\nFinally, our amazing student crew continues to amaze every year by creating the set pieces and props. The provided paint and accessories were used to create an incredible set!\r\n\r\nYhank you again to all who donated. Our students were thrilled to see the donated products and immediately began sharing ideas on how to use them to create our production.\r\n\r\nWith the help of the provided stage makeup and accessories, we were able to create unique and professional looks for our actors. Student makeup artists assisted each other in creating bold character makeup to define each role.\r\n\r\nThe paint and crafting materials provided gave students an opportunity to explore skills beyond performing. Crew members collaborated to design intricate stage pieces that have the stage an incredible underwater look.\r\n\r\nThanks to the generosity of our donors, our students didn't just put on a performance, they experienced the full process of theatre.
