My students were so excited when the skeletons arrived. We have finished our skeletal unit in anatomy and having the skeletons in the classroom was a huge help for them to be able to see the bones and how they relate to one another. Each student was able to have time to do some hands on activities with the skeletons and we will continue to use the skeletons as we enter into the muscular system as these two systems work together.\r\n\r\nMy students were also able to do a project with the colored paper that was purchased. They made a booklet with the paper, which allowed them to process the microscopic anatomy of bone, which can confuse students. Each student was able to have enough paper to make their booklet and let their creativity fly. \r\n\r\nThank you again for all your generous donations and your support of our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1755773150691,"projectUrl":"project/anatomy-skeletal-learning/9588233/","projectTitle":"Anatomy Skeletal Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Hubbard","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9609547"},{"teacherId":2570235,"projectId":8966786,"letterContent":"My students are loving our class \"pets\". We mapped them all out on the poster-sized map and bulletin board with push pins and used a label maker to tag each animal's name. The students come in and ask where the animals have moved to each time they come into class. We have the acrylin boxes with the Fahlo animal bracelets on a music stand near the front of the room so everyone can see them and each is labeled with the animal's name. Some students ask to keep an animal on their desk for the day and wear the bracelet.\r\n\r\nThe bean bag is a coveted seat in the house and has to be earned, which is a helpful and effective motivator to encourage students to stay on task and complete work.","fullyFundedDate":1742896937228,"projectUrl":"project/comfy-classroom-class-pet/8966786/","projectTitle":"Comfy Classroom & Class Pet","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Cronin Boutilier","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2570235_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1597979141428","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-e-cronin"},{"teacherId":4905346,"projectId":8526388,"letterContent":"Thank you for your support in bringing the reading center back to its original glory.
