Your support of our grant means that NO ONE in our classroom has to go without a snack each and every day. With SNAP benefits being cut, this has impacted our classroom as well. I am so glad that we were one step ahead and had snacks ready to go for all students. \r\n\r\nWhen students don't have a snack to bring to school for whatever reason- maybe they forgot theirs or snacks are not available at home due to financial strains, this makes it hard to concentrate in school. We want to take away any anxiety or concern and we want to be able to provide a snack for all students. \r\n\r\nYour generous donation has been such a great benefit for our class. It has helped each student to know that snacks are available to ALL students, everyday. Plus, it has helped me as a teacher not to feel guilty and not to have to spend my own money to provide snacks.
