Our old refrigerator leaked from the freezer into the refrigerator. We had to put towels in to collect the water. There was hardly any room for anything else.\r\n\r\nThe new refrigerator is a dream. Our students and staff can put numerous items in the refrigerator and freezer without problem. We cook once a month and it is easy for our students to find the items needed for the recipe. We also hold a Thanksgiving luncheon for our families and staff. One of our students is very sensitive to noises made by other classmates. The headphones are so beneficial for her. She is non-verbal and is able to advocate for the use of headphones when sounds are too much for her.\r\n\r\nAnother student in the classroom has a fear of loud sounds, like buzzers and the fire alarm. The headphones are helpful so that he can attend Physical Education and not hear the buzzer go off in the gym. vA third student finds the headphones useful to block out environmental sounds. He has a fear of birds.
