One of my favorite things has been watching students encourage each other when someone struggles with a skill. Whether it's cheering for a good hit or helping a teammate learn something new, they are already learning that being part of a team means supporting one another.\r\n\r\nAs a 4th grade teacher, I love seeing students learn lessons that go beyond the classroom. Softball gives them a chance to practice teamwork, responsibility, patience, and good sportsmanship in a fun and active way.
