Our girls' casual, conversational English is improving and they are comfortable with making mistakes in front of one another. The majority of our conversations wind up being about boys and weekend plans, so we've jokingly started calling our meetings \"Chisme y Cafe.\"\r\n\r\nAs their ESL teacher, I have noticed growth in their English reading, writing, speaking, and listening abilities. I am proud to share that ALL of \"our girls\" have already hit their academic growth goals for the year in Reading!\r\n\r\nWe will continue our mentoring group in the spring semester, beginning with a Galentine's Day bash on February 14th. We're also planning to paint pots and plant seeds, representing the importance of personal growth.
