Something as simple as the clear plastic sheet protectors with the dry erase markers provide reusable math boards for daily math practice. I can change out the math practice mats as we move along and even send them home for practice. Small things make a big difference.\r\n The white magnetic easel is used daily. One side is used for math, and the other for the science, reading, and writing note taking. The math side works well with the magnetic math manipulatives as well as allowing the kids to write on it. This was badly needed because my room have very limited wall space for the students and I to work with. \r\n They have been exploring with the robot mouse on a flat cardboard. Soon they will be given pieces to create obstacles for the mouse. This builds teamwork and problem solving skills. \r\n Supplies such as these help keep the kids engaged with learning. The cardio drums brought energy and excitement into the classroom, giving students an active, engaging way to connect rhythm with movement. They've provided an outlet for self-expression, teamwork, and focus, while also meeting the needs of students who thrive with hands-on, kinesthetic learning. Similarly, the boomwhackers have opened the door to teaching melody and harmony in a way that is both visual and interactive. Students are not only learning music concepts more deeply, but they are also experiencing the joy of making music together.\r\n\r\nThe Elementary Winter Concert Program will give students the chance to showcase their hard work and talents to families and the school community. Many students had never performed like this on stage before, and this program will give them the confidence to shine in front of an audience. It creates a sense of pride and belonging, helping students see themselves as musicians and valued contributors to something larger than themselves. The impact will be long-lasting and students are more motivated in class, more eager to participate, and more invested in the growth of our music program. These resources and opportunities have not only enriched their musical learning but have also built their confidence, creativity, and collaboration skills.","fullyFundedDate":1752586554610,"projectUrl":"project/help-bring-music-to-life-for-deserving-s/9452366/","projectTitle":"Help Bring Music to Life for Deserving Students!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Paschal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9899412_orig.jpg?crop=2400,2400,x0,y312&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752009301246","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9899412"},{"teacherId":7796612,"projectId":8812905,"letterContent":"We have used these stools every single day since they arrived! They have quickly become a preferred seating choice for all of the learners in our classroom. I placed them at my small group table, which is used throughout the day for small group (3-5 students) instruction and one-on-one time. Whenever students come to our small group table they immediately grab one of these fantastic stools.\r\n\r\nWhen the students came in the morning after I unboxed the stools they quickly noticed their vibrant blue. Upon seeing the new stools the first response I heard was, \"Wow! Those are awesome! Can we use them?\" The students especially like that the stools have an adjustable height, which allows them to be used comfortably and safely by everyone.\r\n\r\nThe success of this project has inspired me to create a similar one soon to bring even more flexible seating options into our classroom!
