I'm teaching tomorrow's scientists! We love working collaboratively to investigate real world problems and devise our own innovative solutions. We do most of our group work on the floor which the kids prefer over sitting at their desks, but the floor is not the optimal situation when working with many science tools. Wouldn't it be great if we could learn in an authentic environment? My fifth graders would enjoy two dry erase tables and eight stools to convert our classroom into a science research lab. Talk about authentic learning!
