Originally, I needed the trays for reading groups, however, they have brought positive results throughout my entire day. They have benefited my reading groups tremendously by allowing the students to complete spelling, most common word work, and comfortably read their decodable books. The trays allow me to bring smaller groups to the rug so I can have use of the board and still maintain the ability to teach without needing a table. \r\nWhat was unexpected was how useful the trays would be throughout the day. Students who struggle to see whether they are in need of glasses or have broken ones are able to come to the front of the room and still complete work with the class. The trays are used for morning work, writing, reading and math.
