This resource has already made a meaningful impact on our students' learning. Although we have just kicked off the school year, we have used the maps daily to identify basic geographical locations, specifically countries, continents, and oceans. Having a large-scale visual in our classroom has been especially helpful for students who benefit from seeing information presented clearly and in a larger format. The maps have become an accessible, hand-on reference that students can look at while learning and asking questions about the world around them.\r\n\r\nIt was like Christmas when the students first saw the maps! They were excited to explore them and located places they had been learning about. They enjoyed finding familiar states and countries as well as discovering new places around the world. The maps have also become a valuable reference during lessons, allowing students to locate specific places as they learn about different regions, cultures, and civilizations. Rather than relying only on smaller visuals in books or on a screen, our class now has a permanent , large-scale resource they can refer to independently throughout class.\r\n\r\nOur next steps are to continue incorporating the maps into our daily lessons. Students will use them as references to practice locating specific areas we are studying throughout the year and connecting our learning to real places. Your generosity has provided our students with a resource that will continue supporting their learning throughout the year.
