We use these snacks during independent reading, writing workshops, and small-group instruction, times when focus and stamina matter most. Having a quick snack has helped students stay engaged longer, participate more confidently, and push through challenging learning tasks without distraction from hunger.\r\n\r\nWhen the snacks first arrived, my students were beyond excited. Their faces lit up as they helped unpack the boxes, and many shared how happy they were to know they wouldn't have to \"wait until lunch\" to feel better or refocused. More than the food itself, they felt cared for, and that sense of support has made a noticeable difference in our classroom climate.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, my students are diving deeper into reading comprehension, written responses, and collaborative discussions. Thanks to you, they are able to approach these lessons with full stomachs, clearer minds, and a renewed sense of readiness to learn. Your kindness has truly helped fuel both their bodies and their love for learning, and we are so grateful for the impact you've made in our classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1758202672162,"projectUrl":"project/fueling-young-minds-with-healthy-snacks/9667971/","projectTitle":"Fueling Young Minds with Healthy Snacks","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Barnes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10054522_orig.png?crop=256,256,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1749674728975","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10054522"},{"teacherId":10054522,"projectId":9409142,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our project, \"Plug In and Focus: Tools for Student Success.\" Your generosity provided our classroom with power strips and a full class set of headphones, tools that have already transformed the way my students learn each day.\r\n\r\nThese materials have made an immediate difference. The new power strips allow students to work anywhere in the classroom without worrying about dead devices or limited outlets. This has increased flexibility, reduced interruptions, and helped us maintain smoother transitions during instruction. The class set of headphones has also been a game changer. Students are now able to focus during independent work, access digital learning platforms without distraction, and fully engage in reading fluency practice, online assessments, and small-group instruction.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, our classroom feels more efficient, more focused, and more responsive to student needs.
