Students immediately dove into projects and began experimenting with new sewing techniques they hadn't tried before. Next, students will refine their sewing skills to create a pillowcase, pajama shorts, pants and a choice design. I plan to implement a way for students to document their process in a class portfolio, and possibly prepare a presentation for our school community. But, this equipment will benefit the music department for many years to come as well!
