Your support has made a meaningful and immediate impact on our classroom.\r\nBecause of these materials, our students have been able to engage in hands-on learning experiences that bring science, technology, engineering, and math to life. They are collaborating, problem-solving, testing ideas, and learning from mistakes—all essential skills for future success. The excitement and curiosity I've seen have been so fun to watch. I think the most striking feature has been the creativity and engagement. The nature of these exploratory activities also helps build stamina and perseverance. \r\nWe have completed two of the three activities I planned, each increasing the outcome's constraints. I hope to see an increase in the group's collaboration to problem-solve, engage with each other, and support each other's ideas and thoughts. These supplies are perfectly suited for this. \r\nThank you again for investing in Webster Elementary's students. Your generosity has shown our 4th graders that their learning matters and that there are people in the community who believe in it. Your support has made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and we are so grateful. Because of your donation, each of my students will now have their very own copy of the book 'Wonder'. This powerful story teaches so many important lessons—kindness, empathy, acceptance, and the courage to stand out and be true to yourself. These are all lessons that I would like my students to carry with them as they leave elementary school. As we read and discuss the book together, students are learning to see the world through others' perspectives and to choose compassion in their everyday actions. These are lessons that go far beyond the classroom and help shape the kind of people they are becoming.\r\n\r\nHaving their own personal copy of Wonder makes this experience even more special. As my students prepare to leave elementary school and begin their journey into middle school, they will be able to take this book with them as a reminder of what they've learned. My hope is that it becomes more than just a story—it can be something that they can return to when they need encouragement or guidance. I also hope that they carry these lessons with them into their new school, continuing to practice kindness and empathy as they meet new people and face new challenges. Thank you for helping provide not just books, but a lasting impact.","fullyFundedDate":1768670763924,"projectUrl":"project/a-parting-gift-wonder-for-every-reader/9983114/","projectTitle":"A Parting Gift: Wonder for Every Reader","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Wyatt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8345263"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_80324","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":88,"numTeachers":7,"percentFrplEligible":32,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":1,"percentWhite":97,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":0,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":1,"gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"12.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_DISTANT"},"inStateSupporters":77.6,"schoolId":80324,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Webster Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Webster Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-hampshire/merrimack-valley-school-district-sau-46/webster-elementary-school/80324"}
