My kindergarteners are at the perfect age for learning responsibility, and these new supplies are helping them take real ownership of their learning environment each day.\r\n\r\nThe moment the students saw the wipes, paper towels, broom, dustpan, and Swiffer kit, they were immediately excited to help the classroom. We created a little routine together where scholars clean their tables multiple times a day using the disinfecting wipes. They love taking turns being the clean up leader, and it has sparked thoughtful conversations about why keeping our space germ free is important, especially during cold season.\r\n\r\nThe paper towels have been a lifesaver. In a room full of 5 and 6 year olds, spills happen constantly. We use them to wipe up water spills, dry our hands, and clean our dry erase boards. We are especially grateful for this resource because we run out so quickly, and having extra on hand keeps our day running smoothly.\r\n\r\nThe broom, dustpan set, and Swiffer have helped students understand that caring for a classroom is a shared responsibility. After centers, they sweep up small messes, tidy the floor, and make sure our space is ready for learning. These tools have become part of our daily routine, giving students a sense of pride and independence.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are not just learning academics. They are learning real life skills about cleanliness, responsibility, and working together. We are so grateful for your kindness and investment in our classroom community.\r\n\r\nThank you for making a meaningful difference for my scholars!","fullyFundedDate":1715173368854,"projectUrl":"project/cleanliness-counts-learning-surmounts/8380256/","projectTitle":"Cleanliness Counts, Learning Surmounts","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gibbons","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp2888936_orig.jpg?crop=2496,2496,x402,y318&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1565989728817","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-b-gibbons"},{"teacherId":5852520,"projectId":9030612,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for helping bring a Cricut machine into our classroom. I can't tell you how excited the kids were when we unboxed it. Most of them had never seen one before, and the minute we plugged it in, their imaginations just took off.\r\n\r\nIn reading, they made bookmarks with quotes from books they love and even designed character cards. One student who usually struggles to engage in reading was so proud of his design. He told me it was the first time a school project felt like something he would do at home for fun. That's a huge win.\r\n\r\nThanks to your generosity, our classroom feels more like a space where ideas can come to life. It is colorful, welcoming, and full of student-created work. The Cricut has become a tool for learning, celebrating, and expressing themselves, and it is all because of you.\r\n\r\nThank you from all of us.
