Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our daily reading time. In our classroom, reading is a time when students explore stories, learn new vocabulary, and practice important skills like decoding, comprehension, and asking questions about what they read. These new texts have helped us strengthen those skills while also building excitement around reading.\r\n\r\nBecause of your support, my students now have access to engaging and diverse books that match their interests and reading levels. During independent reading, students eagerly choose books, share their favorite parts with classmates, and make connections between the stories and their own lives. It has been especially rewarding to see some of my developing readers grow more confident as they pick up books and practice reading each day.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has helped create a classroom environment where students are excited to read, learn, and discover new ideas. My kindergarteners are at the perfect age for learning responsibility, and these new supplies are helping them take real ownership of their learning environment each day.\r\n\r\nThe moment the students saw the wipes, paper towels, broom, dustpan, and Swiffer kit, they were immediately excited to help the classroom. We created a little routine together where scholars clean their tables multiple times a day using the disinfecting wipes. They love taking turns being the clean up leader, and it has sparked thoughtful conversations about why keeping our space germ free is important, especially during cold season.\r\n\r\nThe paper towels have been a lifesaver. In a room full of 5 and 6 year olds, spills happen constantly. We use them to wipe up water spills, dry our hands, and clean our dry erase boards. We are especially grateful for this resource because we run out so quickly, and having extra on hand keeps our day running smoothly.\r\n\r\nThe broom, dustpan set, and Swiffer have helped students understand that caring for a classroom is a shared responsibility. After centers, they sweep up small messes, tidy the floor, and make sure our space is ready for learning. These tools have become part of our daily routine, giving students a sense of pride and independence.\r\n\r\nThanks to your support, my students are not just learning academics. They are learning real life skills about cleanliness, responsibility, and working together.
