Thanks to your support, our students now have access to a variety of materials and resources that are making an incredible impact in our classroom. \r\n\r\nWhen the materials first arrived, my students were thrilled. Their faces lit up as they explored the new games and resources. One student said, \"This is going to make everything so much better!\" And it truly has. The variety of tools we now have allows them to explore both theater and music in ways they had never experienced before. It's exciting to see how their imaginations have flourished with these new opportunities. \r\n\r\nLooking ahead, the next steps for our students involve deepening their understanding of improvisation and vocal performance. For example, we often play the games in our theater classes when working on ensemble building. Students have to use improvisation as a foundation for these different games, while learning to weave their individual voices and talents into a cohesive ensemble. This process will require them to listen intently, collaborate effectively, and grow as performers. I can't wait to see how they continue to evolve through this semester, and I know the experience will stay with them long after our class ends.\r\n\r\nYour support is making a real difference in the lives of our students. \r\n\r\nThank you again for helping make this all possible.","fullyFundedDate":1735662940978,"projectUrl":"project/make-our-learning-fun-in-choir-and-theat/8816194/","projectTitle":"Make Our Learning Fun in Choir and Theater!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Robinson","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5829157_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1536364244982","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5829157"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_77862","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":430,"numTeachers":34,"percentFrplEligible":39,"percentAsian":4,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":73,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":3,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"6 - 8","studentTeacherRatio":"12.6:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":71.4,"schoolId":77862,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Washington Middle School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Washington Middle School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/missouri/mehlville-school-district-r9/washington-middle-school/77862"}
