Your donations have meant the world to my classroom and to my students. Many of my students come from low-income situations where they have needs that are consistently unmet. Having donors who are willing to fund needs in our classroom is essential to students feeling welcome and like they belong in my classroom.\r\n\r\nWe received a wobble chair for our classroom. This item specifically helps students who need movement in order to learn well. Students use this when they have extra energy but still want to be able to \"sit still\" and learn. Wobbling on a stool can feed that need for movement while also allowing students to work at a desk in respective silence. These are not cheap and the fact that I was able to secure one for my classroom was amazing!\r\n\r\nWe also received a classroom set of headphones. Students use headphones daily in my classroom to help them watch online mini-lessons about math concepts. Securing a classroom set insured that all of my students would receive a pair of headphones in the classroom if they did not bring their own. This has been a game-changer for some of my students!\r\n\r\nThank you all for your generous giving. The impact has been more than I could hope for. Even adults entering my classroom have noted, \"I love the vibe of this room,\" and \"This is great. Where did you get all of this?\" My answer--Donor's Choose. \r\n\r\nIn addition, I very much appreciate the cleaning supplies. Have an organized and clean classroom every single day affects my students in such a positive manner. I have learned that a clean and organized classroom offers numerous benefits, including improved student focus, better health, and enhanced academic performance. These environments reduce distractions, decrease the spread of germs, and create a more positive and productive atmosphere for both students and teachers. \r\n\r\nWithout your generous contribution, I would not have been able to create a clean, organized and calm classroom for my students. I have learned that the health crisis related to sugar consumption in students includes physical health issues like fatty liver disease, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease, as well as cognitive effects such as impaired learning and memory. Excessive sugar intake can also lead to psychological problems like depression and social anxiety, and it can negatively impact academic performance. \r\n\r\nWith your generous contribution, I am able to reward my students with mini-drawing pads, mini-colored pencils, pens and pencils for classroom use, and a variety of other items that encourage their reading progress and hard work.
