The magnetic whiteboard squares have also been helpful for modeling examples at the front of the room, allowing students to follow along and apply what they see to their own work.\r\n\r\nOne of the best parts of having these materials is seeing how they help our classroom run more smoothly. For example, when we work on graphing equations, I can demonstrate the process using the magnetic squares while students create their own graphs in their notebooks. This allows us to spend more time discussing patterns, analyzing graphs, and understanding the math rather than focusing on drawing the graph itself. We use the vertical whiteboards almost daily, and they have been a huge hit with students. I have especially appreciated how willing students are to take risks and try different approaches when solving problems.
