I apologize for the delay in sending this note—unfortunately, I had to leave the classroom earlier than expected last year—but I am finally home from the hospital and couldn't let another day go by without expressing my deep gratitude.\r\nYour donations made a tremendous difference in my Title I classroom. The headphones were by far the most helpful item—each student was able to listen and learn individually, which made a huge impact on their focus and confidence. The dry-erase markers, colored pencils, erasers, and dice brought immense joy to our lessons, enabling students to engage in fun and interactive learning experiences.\r\nEach child also had their own storage case to keep their materials organized, which they loved. The storage organizer you provided made managing small groups so much easier, and the number bond set, dry-erase sentence strips, magnetic letters, base ten blocks, and regrouping chart all helped support foundational skills in math and literacy. The landforms and mapping center, and the sentence-building board game became student favorites during small group time!\r\nBecause of your kindness, my students had what they needed to learn and succeed—no matter the challenges or changes that came our way. Your support ensured that, even after I had to step away, my students were still prepared and equipped to keep growing.\r\nFrom the bottom of my heart, thank you. Your generosity made an unforgettable difference for both me and my students.","fullyFundedDate":1715217847920,"projectUrl":"project/problem-solving-and-getting-creative/8365529/","projectTitle":"Problem Solving and Getting Creative","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Stallone","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9065797_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1714716066571","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9065797"},{"teacherId":9071914,"projectId":9500499,"letterContent":"We are so excited to share some wonderful news with you! There are no longer any water spills on the floor, and all students' bottles have a secure, designated place. This not only prevents accidents but also keeps the classroom tidy and stress-free. Additionally, every student who didn't previously have a water bottle has now received one, ensuring that everyone has access to clean, refreshing water throughout the day. The students are thrilled to have their own bottles and take pride in keeping them in the proper place.","fullyFundedDate":1755028647239,"projectUrl":"project/drink-up-dream-big/9500499/","projectTitle":"Drink Up, Dream Big!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Gerena","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9071914_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1714753854668","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9071914"},{"teacherId":9071914,"projectId":8456131,"letterContent":"During the year my students enjoy the class using the carpet. My students were fascinated to learn how sea creatures adapt when their homes are threatened. We used this story to introduce vocabulary related to habitats, migration, and cause and effect.\r\n\r\nIn our reading corner, you'll now find students eagerly flipping through pages, pointing out coral reefs and asking thoughtful questions like, \"Why do they have to move?\" or \"How can we help the ocean?\" One student, in particular, who usually struggles to stay engaged during reading time, has become our classroom \"ocean expert,\" proudly sharing facts and drawing underwater scenes inspired by the book.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom is interactive, joyful, and full of purpose. The moment my students saw the new books, memory games, and social-emotional board games, their eyes lit up with joy. They couldn't wait to dive in! One memorable moment was watching a group of students play a bilingual memory game together—they were helping each other remember words in both English and Spanish, cheering each other on, and building confidence in their language skills.\r\n\r\nWe will be using the resources during small group rotations and indoor recess, and after school clubs which has turned into a time of collaborative learning. The social-emotional games have sparked meaningful conversations during our community circles, helping students express their feelings and strengthen their relationships.\r\n\r\nAs we wrap up the school year, we're using these materials to support reflection, review, and celebration of all the learning we've done together.
