The fidget items/manipulatives have helped when a student needed something to keep them still in their seat and to help hold onto something when one was upset. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for providing these materials to my gifted second grade classroom! I can see it enhancing their affective skills already! Not only does our new equipment print in color, but it also allows me to scan and copy anything we might need! \r\n\r\nAs we were putting together our display boards for the First Lego League Family Night, the kids were able to see their digital work come to life in an instant! They had worked so hard on this project, especially the Book Creator portion where they shared their research findings in the form of a picture book. We were able to print those pages and display them directly in the boards. The kids were so proud of their work!\r\n\r\nSince then, the copier/printer has made tasks that used to require squeezing in time during my planning to get to the common printer and back into a task that barely requires a thought... just the push of a button. They also help my students who are reading individually block out the noise of those that are reading in pairs. \r\n\r\nWe have classes with multiple reading levels. These headphones help me with differentiation. Those that are at grade level use the headphones to concentrate. Those that are not at grade level can read in pairs.
