The hail stones were so large they busted through the roof and caused our school to flood. We were out of school for a week while crews worked around the clock to make our school inhabitable. Due to the storm damage all the carpeting had to be disposed of, leaving us with hard flooring. \r\n You were so generous to donate a very large classroom rug for my students to sit on during whole group learning and center time. It is so large my kids have their own space where they can focus on learning. \r\n Thank you so much for being so very generous. My students use your donation multiple times a day for learning and reading time. The hail stones were so large that they broke through the roof and our school flooded. Our school district had to close for a week while crews tried to get our building in a condition we could have school in. My room sustained significant damage causing me to lose many essential things including my students headphones.\r\n The donors were so generous in funding my project to get new headphones for my entire class. My students need headphones daily when they use their Chromebooks for lessons and of course during state testing.\r\n I would just like to extend a huge thank you to the donors that generously funded my project. My students love their new headphones! They use them every day and are always telling me how great they work and how comfortable they are. When I first opened them and showed my class they were all saying, \"Wow!\" \r\n Since my kids have been using the new headphones, they are leveling up on their learning paths. Before kids were stuck and not moving up at all. Many of them struggled because they didn't have good headphones to use so they would have to unplug the headphones and listen outloud. Well that caused problems because kids would get distracted by what the other kids were working on. Now I don't have those issues. I am so amazed at their progress. We have had the headphones for a week and I have 10 out of 21 kids that leveled up this week. I know testing will be a success because of these amazing headphones.\r\n My kids and I are so thankful. You were very generous giving this gift to them. I appreciate what you have done. My kids really appreciate the gift.
