Students are using the new resources to create colorful clothespins that are released across campus each day. Every morning, we hide 100 clothespins for students to discover. When someone finds one, they are encouraged to \"Clip It Forward\" by attaching it to another student's backpack, passing along a message of hope, encouragement, or appreciation. Watching students smile as they receive an unexpected act of kindness has been one of the most rewarding moments of the project.\r\n\r\nThe excitement continues to grow as more students join in. Our next step is to keep the kindness moving by creating new clothespins throughout the year and encouraging students to share stories of how a simple message brightened someone's day. Plus, comparing the graphic novel with parts of the original text helps them think about how different formats tell the same story in different ways.
