They were excited to see everything when I introduce it to them one at a time. \r\n\r\nThe biggest hit were the swings. They helped so many of my students with regulating themselves and help with their sensory needs. Some would get into a cacoon curl up into a bag and let me push them around. It was their favorite. Crawling through the tubes is also something they really enjoyed during the obstacle. Some students tide the tubes together to make one big tunnel and crawl through it. Others used it while standing and played pick-a-boo and enjoyed it. Seeing my student's smiling face while using the items was a highlight of my day. I sent pictures to parents and even they were excited with the new items their child was able to use. \r\n\r\nI would like to continue to add to the obstacle course with other items to help my students with their sensory needs. Turn my room into a whole obstacle course since they like to climb and crawl. \r\n\r\nThank you for all the support and donations. It really helped my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1739368338898,"projectUrl":"project/sensory-obstacle-course-for-special-educ/8969318/","projectTitle":"Sensory Obstacle Course for Special Education","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Crystal","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp8632546_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1732587095940","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8632546"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_34325","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":353,"numTeachers":21,"percentFrplEligible":87,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":84,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"16.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":78.2,"schoolId":34325,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Virginia Primrose Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Virginia Primrose Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/fontana-unified-school-district/virginia-primrose-elementary-school/34325"}
