During our morning time, I intentionally used this opportunity to sit with small groups of students, allowing me to check in with them, provide extra support, and build stronger relationships. These small group conversations gave me a better understanding of each student's needs while also creating a relaxed setting where they felt comfortable asking questions and participating.\r\n\r\nTo make sure every student had an equal opportunity to enjoy the flexible seating, I created a daily rotation schedule. Each day, a different group of students had the chance to use the flexible seating options, making it something everyone could look forward to. I noticed that students were more engaged during instruction, worked well together, and took pride in earning their turn. Overall, incorporating flexible seating into my classroom helped create a positive learning environment while giving me meaningful opportunities to work more closely with my students each day.","fullyFundedDate":1723737771841,"projectUrl":"project/optional-seating-in-the-classroom/8395007/","projectTitle":"Optional Seating in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Molinere","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9259893_orig.jpg?crop=272,272,x269,y266&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1784043883389","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9259893"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_17219","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":404,"numTeachers":14,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":31,"percentWhite":16,"percentIndigenous":2,"percentLatinx":42,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":6,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"28.9:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_FRINGE"},"inStateSupporters":80.0,"schoolId":17219,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Village East School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Village East School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/louisiana/terrebonne-parish-school-district/village-east-school/17219"}
