One favorite moment so far was when the children worked together to create a \"classroom band.\" Each student chose an instrument and practiced keeping a steady beat while we sang familiar songs. They learned to listen to one another, take turns, and play together as a group.\r\nTheir eyes lit up as soon as they saw the instruments, and they couldn't wait to explore the different sounds. Many students asked questions, tapped gently to test the instruments, and proudly shared which one was their favorite.\r\nNext, we will use the instruments to explore patterns, volume, and connecting music to early math and literacy skills. Students will practice playing loud and soft sounds, fast and slow beats, and matching rhythms.
