Our class was very grateful to receive a class set of scientific calculators, a class set of whiteboards, and a large whiteboard. These items have helped our understanding of math concepts.\r\nWe are a class of ESOL (English Speakers of Other Languages) students. We are grades sixth, seventh, and eighth taking different courses and speaking different languages. This class allows us to get assistance from a teacher on these courses. We practice our academic skills and the English language.\r\nUsing the whiteboards really helps us with practicing our math problems. We can all write the problem and try to solve it. We show our answers to the teacher and then she shows us how to do the problem on the big whiteboard. Some students are in higher math and need the use of a calculator. Not every student has access to a calculator so having a class set is very helpful.\r\nLearning has become even more meaningful and engaging due to these supplies. The students love using the whiteboards and I can quickly see if they solved the problem correctly. Your donation has helped to improve student instruction, learning, and student achievement.
