Students use the sand toys and funnels to explore cause-and-effect relationships and sensory learning, while the trains and bristle blocks encourage creativity, problem-solving, and cooperative play. It has been wonderful to see students collaborating, building together, and practicing important social skills such as communication, sharing, and teamwork.\r\n\r\nThe high-interest nature of these materials has greatly increased student engagement during learning activities. Even students who are typically hesitant to participate are excited to join in and explore alongside their peers.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we will continue using these resources to support hands-on learning experiences that strengthen fine motor skills, creativity, social interaction, and early STEM concepts. Because of your generosity, my classroom received one MacBook Air that is already making a meaningful difference for my 32 emergent bilingual students.\r\n\r\nMany of my students are learning English while trying to keep up with grade-level work. For them, sharing their thoughts can feel intimidating. Having access to this MacBook Air gives them the time and support they need to practice, listen, and try again. During small groups and language support time, students use tools like speech-to-text, audio support, and translation features to help them understand lessons and express themselves more clearly.\r\n\r\nI've watched students who were once hesitant to speak light up when they realize they can make their ideas understood. They take risks, gain confidence, and begin to see themselves as capable learners.
