When the materials arrived, the students immediately wanted to explore them and begin using them in our daily activities. Their excitement and curiosity were wonderful to see, and it created an even more positive and engaging learning environment.\r\nMy 8th grade students have been using these resources during class lessons, small group work, and independent activities. The materials have helped make lessons more interactive and meaningful. One memorable moment was when students began using the items during a classroom activity and started collaborating with one another, sharing ideas and helping each other complete the task. It was rewarding to see them so engaged and motivated to participate.\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, many of them were surprised and grateful. They were excited to know that people they had never met cared enough to support their learning. It helped them feel valued and encouraged them to take pride in their work.\r\nThese resources will continue to support our classroom learning as we move forward with upcoming lessons and projects. My students will use them to strengthen important skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving. Having these materials available allows me to create more hands-on and engaging activities that support student growth.\r\nThank you for giving my students the opportunity to learn with these new resources. Your generosity has made a meaningful difference in our classroom, and my students truly appreciate your support.","fullyFundedDate":1772116112908,"projectUrl":"project/fueling-focus-in-8th-grade-algebra/9984901/","projectTitle":"Fueling Focus in 8th Grade Algebra","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Ayah","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-1_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10397380"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_131657","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":null,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":74,"percentAsian":14,"percentBlack":16,"percentWhite":12,"percentIndigenous":1,"percentLatinx":34,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Not specified","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR District Record","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"UNCLASSIFIED","ncesMetroType":null},"inStateSupporters":100.0,"schoolId":131657,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Urban Assembly School of Leadership & Empowerment on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Urban Assembly School of Leadership & Empowerment","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-york/new-york-city-dept-of-ed/urban-assembly-school-of-leadership-empowerment/131657"}
