With the brutal heat and heat index keeping air flowing is extremely important to keeping our birds alive. \r\nStudents come in all summer to take care of their birds, but they can't change the weather. Your donation meant they had one last thing to worry about and they just needed to make sure birds had plenty of clean water, food, and clean bedding. \r\nBecause we have limited power sources on the school farm having solar powered fans was the ideal solution to the heat problem. One thing Florida has plenty of is the sun. The solar panels even store enough energy to keep the fans running when it's cloudy. So we have happy bird with a cool breeze running through their feathers and happy students not worrying about losing animals to heat stress. \r\nWe couldn't have done it without your generous donation.
