The impact of these tools to my classroom cannot be overstated. The snap Circuits alone have lines to be utilized and have quickly evolved not just to an insight into electrical engineering and electricity in general, but to a natural collaborative learning experience for my students. All on their own, they've taken to teaming up to work through the workbooks together. Each success is marked by a spontaneousshare session where they go from classmate to classmate or station to station sharing what they've discovered. It's not uncommon to hear comments such as \"That was so cool!\" and \"Look what we did!\" followed by \"I wonder if we can...\" This ends up with going above and beyond the provided workbook.\r\n\r\nThe microbits allows students to make the curriculum come alove. Rather than just text on a screen, and a robotic voice through their headphones, they can interact with the concepts being taught. This makes the learning much more engaging and far more likely to be retained. It is also far more engaging to every learner regardless of how they learn best because it provides multiple learning styles within the platform.\r\n\r\nThank you for helping me bring learning alive. I am eternally grateful.","fullyFundedDate":1732718997079,"projectUrl":"project/stemtactular-curricular-connections/8781376/","projectTitle":"STEMtactular Curricular Connections","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Levitt","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-9_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8096336"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_101083","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":202,"numTeachers":15,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":2,"percentBlack":31,"percentWhite":33,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"3 - 6","studentTeacherRatio":"13.5:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":65.5,"schoolId":101083,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Wilson Focus School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Wilson Focus School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/nebraska/omaha-public-schools/underwood-hills-focus-school/101083"}
