Your donation has made a meaningful impact on my students and has helped create a learning environment that is welcoming, engaging, comfortable, and supportive of the many different needs of my learners. Because of your kindness, my students have access to valuable resources that they will use throughout the school day to learn, grow, collaborate, and develop important academic and social-emotional skills.\r\n\r\nAs a Title I school, donations like yours are especially meaningful to my students and my classroom community. Your generosity provides additional materials and opportunities that allow me to better support the diverse needs of my students. These resources allowed me to provide my students with additional opportunities for hands-on learning, individualized support, collaboration, and meaningful experiences that might not otherwise be available.\r\n\r\nThe school supplies you provided have made a tremendous difference in helping my classroom remain organized, prepared, and ready for learning. Having access to the materials they need has allowed my students to fully participate in classroom activities and focus their energy on learning. These supplies will be used throughout the year during independent work, small-group instruction, collaborative projects, creative activities, and everyday lessons.\r\n\r\nThe new classroom carpet has also had an incredible impact on my classroom environment. Our carpet has been an important gathering space where my students come together as a classroom community. It is where we participate in whole-group lessons, class discussions, read-alouds, morning meetings, and many other activities that help my students learn and connect with one another. It has helped make my classroom feel more welcoming and has created a space where my students can feel comfortable participating, sharing their ideas, and building relationships with their classmates.\r\n\r\nThe flexible seating provided through this project has also been a wonderful addition to my classroom. Each of my students learns differently, and having a variety of seating options has given them opportunities to find spaces that best support their individual learning needs.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has also helped bring more hands-on social-emotional learning opportunities into my classroom. Social-emotional learning is an important part of our school day because my students are constantly learning how to communicate, solve problems, manage their emotions, work with others, and build positive relationships. The hands-on SEL activities provided through this project give my students meaningful opportunities to practice these important skills in an engaging and interactive way.\r\n\r\nTogether, these resources have helped transform my classroom into a space that supports both academic success and social-emotional growth. The supplies, carpet, flexible seating, SEL activities, and variety of other materials generously donated each serve different purposes, but they all contribute to the same goal: creating an environment where my students feel supported, included, comfortable, and excited to learn.\r\n\r\nThank you for believing in my students and investing in their education. Your generosity goes far beyond the items you provided. You have helped create additional opportunities for my students to learn, grow, develop confidence, and build important skills that they will carry with them beyond my classroom.","fullyFundedDate":1780625179218,"projectUrl":"project/help-support-4th-grade-title-i-classroom/10309112/","projectTitle":"Help Support 4th Grade Title I Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Tenney","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10515859_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1780163574990","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/ms-tenney"},{"teacherId":1612191,"projectId":10213879,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for supporting our classroom through this project! The timer helps students stay motivated and manage their learning time independently, while the whiteboards give them a fun and low-pressure way to practice skills and participate confidently. The fidgets and cozy new rug have also helped create a calm, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable and ready to learn.\r\n\r\nBecause of your kindness, my students have access to tools that support both their academic growth and emotional needs. Because of you, our classroom environment has become more comfortable, organized, and student-friendly.\r\n\r\nWe are using the flexible seating every day during lessons, small-group work, and independent practice. Students now have choices in where and how they learn best, whether that's a wobble seat for movement or a quiet spot to focus. The jumbo thick pencils have also made a big difference, especially for students working on fine motor skills. Our new organizational containers help keep materials accessible and reduce downtime, giving us more time for learning. The easy-to-read clock has helped students become more aware of time and manage transitions more independently.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was contagious. They immediately noticed the new seating and couldn't wait to try it out. Several students commented on how \"cool\" and \"comfortable\" the classroom felt. \r\nBecause of your support, our next steps include continuing to build student independence and responsibility. Students are learning to choose the seating that helps them learn best, track time during lessons using the clock, and manage their own supplies with the organizational containers. These tools are helping us create a learning space where students feel comfortable, capable, and ready to succeed.\r\n\r\nThank you for giving us a peek-into-our-classroom partnership and for making such a meaningful impact on our students' daily learning experiences. This carpet brings a fun and bright atmosphere into the classroom and we love it so much! \r\n\r\nWe have been ending our days with board games to calm our bodies down before we head home via walking and riding the bus.
