The children and parents created wonderful things and had some great conversation as well as planning and problem solving. \r\n I have taken this several times because they ask for it often. Several parents has purchased sets as well. They were surprised the learning concepts with blocks, Math, cognitive ,problem solving, motor skills ,co-operative play etc. \r\n It is such a joy to see the families get excited about learning. Thank you again for this generous donation of materials.\r\n I plan on bring my portable light into the homes with the magnet blocks so the families can she the light effect with the blocks.","fullyFundedDate":1734261033610,"projectUrl":"project/stem-building-at-its-best/8994246/","projectTitle":"STEM Building at its Best!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Patty","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9844513_orig.jpg?crop=1574,1574,x873,y628&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1733762720411","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9844513"},{"teacherId":8273077,"projectId":8956644,"letterContent":"My preschoolers were so excited when they saw the movable parts of the animals! The doctor and salon stations encouraged the children to work together and problem solve as they learned how to make 'appointments' and gave them a sense of responsibility and confidence as they use the ample materials in their imaginative play. \r\nThe Lincoln logs were a hit. They discovered how the building system works as they stacked the logs. One child even said, \"These are almost like making pattern because you have to put the pieces this way and that way.
